Providing Vital Aid and Rebuilding Hope for Flood-Affected Communities in Ndumberi
In response to the devastating 2024 floods in Kenya, Face of Kenya International Foundation quickly mobilized resources to provide vital assistance to families affected by the disaster. One of the hardest-hit areas was Ndumberi town in Kiambu County, where households were displaced, properties destroyed , and lives were disrupted by the rising floodwaters. Partnering with local leaders, including the area chief, ACK church leadership, and the Red Cross, the foundation focused on alleviating the immediate suffering of those displaced.
Thanks to the generosity our supporters and benefactors, Face of Kenya was able to distribute essential supplies such as foodstuffs, bedding, and clothing to families in need. This timely intervention brought much-needed hope to the community, offering solace to those who lost their homes and belongings. The collaboration between community leaders and humanitarian organizations ensured that aid reached the most vulnerable families, allowing them to begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
This relief effort was made possible through the contributions of Face of Kenya’s dedicated donors, who span the globe. Kenyan supporters, both within the country and across the diaspora, played a crucial role in making this aid possible. From the UK to United States, Germany, Norway, and beyond, Kenyan communities rallied to support their brothers and sisters in need. The foundation is deeply grateful for the contributions of these generous donors, whose compassion and commitment have been instrumental in delivering relief to those affected by the floods.

In times of crisis, our strength lies in coming together. With compassion and unity, we can help rebuild lives and restore hope
